Aimi suppressed a sigh, closing her book with a soft 'thump'. "Marh and Akio are very capable fighters. You worry too much, Riori."

"I can't help it." The pinkette bit her lower lip, brow furrowed. "I just...I have a bad feeling."

"They weren't supposed to be back until tomorrow," Barton intoned. "Don't worry yourself, Riori dear. It isn't fitting for a countenance as lovely as yours- Ouiaoshd!"

Riori almost giggled at the noise the archer spat out when Veriene's shield met with his head in a loud clan

Warning - TOTAL CRACKWar.

It's always ugly, and always unpredictable.

It's even more unpredictable when you have people like Akio Mifune in your outfit.

Volley after volley of arrows rained down upon them, but somehow no one had gotten hurt yet.

"Where's Akio?!" Riori parried a sword strike with her lance and quickly thrust the tip into the man's face, drawing out a scream.

"I don't know..." Kyousuke was, as always, using Hanshou to great effect. Each strike signaled death for another enemy.

Then suddenly, clouds rolled in and thunder rumbled. Lightning struck one enemy mercs, who was literally blown out of his boots.

"Never fear...for I am here."

I REALLY need to draw women more often.

So...I'm actually very happy with how this one came out. I made some modifications to Aimi's outfit, mainly her collar - because it just...just works better. LOL I keep thinking her top in the other picture is just going to fall right off or something. And that would not at all be becoming of a Sage.

I also added a scarf, 'cos she makes 'em look gooood.

And yes, that is supposed to be electricity in her hand (lol I failed because I'm tired and this was hastily done, LEAVE ME ALONE). I thought of photoshopping it to make it more...white, but decided I was too lazy.

...Oh man, this is AWESOME. Awesome in every which way. The pose, the shading, the contrast, the way the lightning-y-ness in her hand turned out, the expression, the way the whole thing fits together - dude, this is just - MAN.
